Digital Storytelling: Contrasting Images of Africa Part 2

The previous post was a rumination about what a digital story is. The question raised was similar to the question, "If a tree falls in the forest and no animal, including humans, is there to hear it, does the fall make a sound?" Well, the post generated two Google + responses, so the falling tree was heard. The topic, Should we care about Africa?, deserves far better treatment than it was given in the previous post. I wanted to submit a post sooner but the frequent lack of electrical power (even now I’m writing the post off-line) and my having time to work on post only on the weekends has delayed me.
