The previous post was a rumination about what a digital story is. The question raised was similar to the question, "If a tree falls in the forest and no animal, including humans, is there to hear it, does the fall make a sound?" Well, the post generated two Google + responses, so the falling tree was heard.
The topic, Should we care about Africa?, deserves far better treatment than it was given in the previous post. I wanted to submit a post sooner but the frequent lack of electrical power (even now I’m writing the post off-line) and my having time to work on post only on the weekends has delayed me. This is my first time to use SlideRocket.

Beyond Silence of the Trees
I used a photo of the Serengeti taken by my brother when he and his family and my sister visited us last summer as the background for this Thinglist production. For the most part, ethical businessmen and women are the hope of sub-Saharan Africa.
